Welcome to the University
Welcome to
Resurrection Power University
The founders, Emmanuel and Carol Obasi welcome you to Resurrection Power University (RPU). RPU is a non-profit organization registered in the State of South Carolina. The University operates as a degree awarding institution through religious exemtion from licensure by the South Carolina Commission on Higher (CHE), and the Louisiana State Board of Regents (on annual basis). In a series of dreams and visions given to Emmanuel, the Lord directed that the main purpose of the university should be to intentionally alert the world of the second coming of Jesus Christ through a Christ-centered, university education at all levels.
Our Vision
Our vision is to be one of an outstanding institution of higher learning in the world that would, through its academic programs, alert the whole world of the inevitable second coming of Jesus Christ, thereby significantly enhancing the opportunity for many to be saved, and not be left behind on the day the Lord shall come.
Our Mission
Our mission is to educate rapture-ready, servant-leaders who would impact the world around them by serving society, the church, teaching and research, and making disciples for Christ. Since all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:3), the University admits learners from diverse theological and non-theological backgrounds who would explore the use of their academic and professional areas as a service to God.
