School of Pastoral Care & Counseling (PCC)

“Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors, there is safety.” (Proverbs 11:14).

At RPUT, we understand that a Christian may face diverse challenges that might require intentional intervention from other people. Issues might arise from family, marriage, parenting, sickness, disease, bereavement, or other forms of personal issues and losses. The Bible says it takes a godly person to offer good counsel (Psalm 37:30). Our pastoral care and counseling program is designed to produce Christian counselors and pastoral caregivers, who follow Christ-centered and Bible-based faith principles to provide interventions. Core courses covered in this cognate area include Cyber-age parenting, Addiction faith counseling, Christian marriage and family counseling, Chaplaincy and pastoral care, and Ethical considerations in Christian counseling. The PCC program offers Certificates, Bachelor of Theology in Christian Counseling, Master of Theology in Christian Counseling, and Doctor of Theology.
